Doctors Express is a unique group of urgent care medical facilities opened in response to a growing need for immediate physician care in a convenient, comfortable environment.

Doctors Express was founded in 2005 by Dr. Scott Burger, who, as a board-certified emergency room doctor, recognized that many of the patients he was treating in the ER could be treated more quickly and efficiently in a smaller, more personable setting.

Dr. Burger is a graduate of Loyola College in Baltimore, MD and the New York college of Osteopathic Medicine in Long Island, New York. Dr. Burger completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, New York. He then spent three years as an Attending Physician in the Emergency Department of Harlem Hospital which serves as a major trauma and burn center in Manhattan. While working at Harlem Hospital, Dr. Burger served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
